The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College – Malta School of Art is proud to have participated in the process for the selection of the official Office of the Prime Minister Christmas Card 2020.
The designs of four children living in care homes have been chosen for the Christmas cards that are being mailed by the Office of the Prime Minister this year.
Over 50 proposals were made by children in care homes in response to a call made by Prime Minister Robert Abela’s spouse, Dr Lydia Abela, which were evaluated by a board made up of members of Arts Council Malta, Spazju Kreattiv, The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College – School of Art and the Office of the Commissioner for Children.
The winning designs were submitted by children who live at the Ursuline Creche, St Joseph’s Home in Santa Venera, Warm Haven and Sempre Viva.
All the submitted designs are being exhibited at Spazju Kreattiv – Valletta, and they highlight the talent of all participating young people and their messages of hope for a better future. The exhibition will be open until the 10th of January 2021. The Mikiel Anton Vassali College – Malta School of Art will be offering art courses to all participating students who would wish to foster their artistic and creative talents. This also highlights the commitment of the College to uphold the value of inclusion.
