We are fortunate to have two talented librettists collaborating on Blat – The Island Fortress Opera-Film. So, after presenting Ġorġ Peresso, here is the second one!
LIBRETTIST
17-year-old Amy Borg is a prodigal student with an outstanding talent for creative writing. She has just finished her studies at St. Aloysius College Sixth Form, where she pursued Maltese and English at advanced level. In addition, she took up Italian at advanced level privately.
Borg wrote the libretto for Blat – The Island Fortress Opera-Film together with Gorg Peresso, developing the characters, the story and the scenario of the opera set in the Second World War era.
