SOPRANO
Astrid Cacciatore has been engaged in the Classical world since 2014. Her first public performance was with the Wives of Italian Ambassadors choir who performed the Stabat Mater by Pergolesi in 2015. Cacciatore’s debut was the interpretation of Cherubino’s aria Non so più cosa son from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera Le Nozze di Figaro. She has then performed in various productions in Malta and overseas.
Currently Cacciatore studies at the MAVC Malta School of Music, where she focuses on singing, performance and music theory. After performing as one of the Sopranos in a small ensemble for the first opera production Swar – Behind the Fortifications, Cacciatore is now a Soprano Soloist in Blat – The Island Fortress Opera-Film.
