The MAVC Malta School of Music launches its first ever Chamber Music Festival this week. Four consecutive days of masterclasses, starting on the 1st of September, will culminate in a concert on Saturday 4th of September.
10 Chamber Music Ensembles, featuring students who are currently following their Diploma in Music Performance at the School of Music (MQF Level 5), will participate in this first edition of the Festival. Between them they will have more than 30 hours of chamber music masterclasses with national and international tutors who have a wide experience as chamber musicians. Masterclasses are open only for active participants, while the concert which will be held in the Poulenc Room on Saturday at 7:30pm, will also be open to other students, friends and family.
