During the festive days of Christmas 2021, the Officials working at the Head of The College Network offices in Hamrun Malta and Xewkija Gozo, decided to donate a small contribution instead of exchanging gifts.
“This Christmas we decided to donate a contribution to the Soup Kitchen Malta, led by Rev Fr. Marcel OFM together with a number of dedicated volunteers. These provide daily meals to a good number of persons who need financial assistance to manage to cope with their daily basic expenses, in a lovely, clean and welcoming refectory in Valletta” explained Victor Galea, Head of the College Network.
On behalf of the College, Mr. Mario Spiteri, Assistent Head, presented kilos of minced meat which was in need by this kitchen, in the presence of a number of persons who where entering the premises for their daily mid-day lunch, who with a broad smile on their faces thanked the College for such a noble gesture. “It was indeed an emotional and happy moment” said Mr Spiteri.
The Mikiel Anton Vassalli Vassalli College wholeheartedly thanks Mr Juan Schembri, owner of Juan Butcher’s in Hamrun, who was kind enough to top up the quantity of minced meat considerably.
