The first Opera Film in Maltese named Blat : The Island Fortress a production of Mikiel Anton Vassalli College which was premiered in June 2022 in Malta is now going to be screened in Vienna later this month.
The film (with English subtitles) involved local professionals as well as learners from the College Schools namely the Malta School of Music, the Malta School of Art, the Malta School of Drama & Dance as well at the Gozo VPA School.
This event became possible through the support of the Vienna State Council and the cultural association Kulturverein KUN lead by Dr.Johanna Beisteiner.
The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College is the national network of specialised schools for Visual and Performing Arts Education in Malta and Gozo.
