The MAVC Gozo Visual & Performing Arts School started it’s scholastic year exceeding expectations. Here are some statistics for the present scholastic year. Split across four disciplines – Art, Music, Drama, and Dance – the school offers a diverse range of artistic courses attended by a total of 1,436 students.

The MAVC Gozo Visual & Performing Arts School started it’s scholastic year with numbers exceeding all expectations.

Here are some statistics for the present scholastic year. Split across four disciplines – Art, Music, Drama, and Dance – the school offers a diverse range of artistic courses attended by a total of 1,436 students.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of 41 teachers ensures that these young and less young talents receive the guidance and expertise they need to thrive. Across 118 classes and 56 courses, students are able to learn the basics, improve their skills and harness their passions.

In the Music department alone, we offer theory classes for all levels, as well as 230 weekly dedicated one-to-one lessons in 16 musical instruments, with students ranging from grade one to grade 8.


Even more apart is the age range, spanning from our youngest student born in January 2018 to our eldest student born in March 1933, proving that it’s never too early or too late to explore the world of arts and creativity.

With these numbers, the musical is more than just an institution; it’s a vibrant hub of artistic exploration, nurturing talents from all walks of life and ages. 🎨🎵🎭💃
