First meeting with set designer and set builder.

On the 24^th of February the students who chose set design , construction and painting as their role in the production ‘Gawhar Misjub’ had their first meeting with Romoulado Moretti the set designer and Claudio Apap, the set builder. During this session Mr. Moretti explained the process of designing a set starting from the initial idea to a model of the stage. Mr. Apap then explained how a set is built using examples from previous productions he has worked on.

The students were then presented with the concept ‘Gawhar Misjub’ – an Operatic Banquet will be based on and how it ties in with the other artistic material e.g. the music.
