Gozo Visual & Performing Arts School’s expanded Sculpture Studio

With the first few weeks of the scholastic year underway, we’d like to highlight some of this year’s new additions and improvements of our school, the MAVC Gozo Visual & Performing Art school.

In the past year, the VPA school hall underwent a complete refurbishment, which included new flooring, the introduction of bookshelves for a portion of the school’s book collection, new lighting, and the addition of roller blind partitions, making the space versatile for school concerts, drama shows, and open day exhibitions.

This year, we’ve expanded our Sculpture Studio, providing additional space with new shelving units for better art and material storage, sinks for easier cleanup, as well as tables and chairs. We’ve also introduced an electric potter’s wheel with an adjustable speed pedal to facilitate precise ceramic work. We believe these enhancements will offer our students improved facilities for their artistic pursuits.

These updates reflect our commitment to continuously enhance the learning environment for our students, and we look forward to seeing the creative potential they unleash in these improved spaces.

Stay tuned for the creative output that emerges from this enriched space. We look forward to witnessing the artistic growth it facilitates.
