The running of a school which houses over 1200 students, 70 courses and which incorporates 4 departments (art, music, drama and dance) under one roof, requires a constant eye to the future and a continuous maintenance and upgrading of the school premises. Only so, can the school maintain it’s appeal and functionality and keep up with the changing times.
In the past year the VPA School has gone through many necessary upgrades, starting from the lighting system (indoors and outdoors), a new school sign, the installation of new art pieces on the front of the building (a statement to qualifying the school as an place of Art and creativity), the refurbishment of the hall, the upgrade of the waiting area with the addition of the recreational area facing the back garden, new computers for the office staff and the installation of sanitizer units throughout the school.
Currently we are refurbishing all the corridor windows, painting of all common areas and some renovations on the front recreational area.
Besides that, we are upgrading class monitors with a set of the latest 75” Interactive Flat panels for each class and the purchase of a chain saw with 16” blade and a rotary cultivator for the care and maintenance of the large garden, a large portion of the school premises.
Head of School Vincent Caruana commented “We are doing our utmost to invest in resources to aid our educators while enhancing the quality of teaching to the benefit of our students.”
