Mikiel Anton Vassalli College has been invited to join other young people from the 26 EU countries for the celebrations taking place in Strasbourg, France. Students attending one or more of the MAVC schools (Malta School of Art, Malta School of Drama and Dance, Malta School of Music and the Gozo VPA School) will be participating.
As part of the preparations for this visit consist in learning the European Anthem (‘Hymne á la joie’ de la symphonie by Beethoven) and other 2 musical pieces (Adiemus by Jenkins and Vers le Futur).

The Maltese group of students started their rehearsals with choir master Geoffrey Thomas some weeks ago and the Maltese group shall be joining other 700 European young people and perform in Strasbourg during the upcoming week.
The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College is the national network of specialised schools for Visual and Performing Arts Education in Malta and Gozo.
