The start of the scholastic year at the Malta School of Art took off with Professional Development sessions on the 28th and 29th of September which were attended by the strong cohort of teachers and administrative staff.
These were introduced by Mr Victor Galea, Head of College Network, followed by a session on procedures and updates for the new scholastic year delivered by Mr Umberto Buttigieg, Centre Administrator.
Ms Marthese Borda gave an insightful overview of the school platform MySchool; where she gave useful hints on its proper use.
Another session was delivered by the Health and Safety Unit within the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation which dealt with basic First Aid procedures and Life skills and the uses of AED equipment at school. These sessions were very well received by all those attending.
The evening came to an end with a small round of drinks and nibbles and a friendly chat.
