Professional Development Sessions at the Malta School of Art

An intensive two-day professional development event was held at the Malta School of Art on the 15th and 16th of February. Before the commencement of this event, which entailed practice-based workshops, Acting Centre Administrator Mr Roderick Camilleri gave an insight into the school’s envisaged targets and introduced the formative workshops which were meant to support team connections, whilst encouraging creative expressions.

The groups consisted of Light Drawing Experimentation led by Kamy Aquilina, Reverse Mode Painting led by Noel Azzopardi, Paper Mache by Mark Lughermo, and Introduction to Stone Carving Techniques led by Stefan Priehyba.

All the workshops were very well received. The outcomes of these workshops demonstrate rewarding results and prove the dedication of the educators who led these formative workshops.
