On World Art Day (15th April 2021) the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes launched an art competition – ARTista, an initiative by the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College – Malta School of Art for students in state and non-state schools.
The total number of entries received were 393. These entries were classified as follows:

1st prize winners from each category will be awarded with the following prizes:
– A Eur30 Voucher on art supplies and materials from M.T.S Arts & Crafts – Ħaż-Żabbar.
– A Summer Course (6 sessions of 2 hrs duration each session) at the MAVC – Malta School of Art.
All participants will receive a certificate through their school/college.
The winning entries and a selection of works will be uploaded online on the MAVC, Malta School of Art website and on the Facebook Page.
