Revisiting ‘Fuse’

A workshop by Vincent Agius was well attended by learners of the Malta School of Art.

The artist was presented by Elyse Tonna ; Curator of Fuse, who earlier this year was the brains behind the collaborative open-air exhibition centered in Valletta, particularly the Bicceria area.

Mr Agius showed the learners how he researched the water fountain in the place known as tas-serp. This was a fountain were there was previously a sculpture bearing the same shape. He explained how his ideas came about and then showed the final art work where a horse was also featured. Learners were then invited to sketch and draw their own versions of horses and explain their thoughts behind their creation.

The evening came to an end with a video of a foreign group of performers who also took part in Fuse.
