The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College, Malta School of Music, and Esplora organised an exclusive event, during which science and music merged to create a unique show. A Planetarium evening with live music by a clarinet quartet accompanied with live space simulation and narration in the Planetarium was offered together with food and drink, and enjoyment of the breath-taking views of the Grand Harbour.
The clarinet quartet of the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College, Malta School of Music, was under the supervision of Godfrey Mifsud and Hertian Gauci two clarinet performance teachers. The students performing were Audrey Vella, Josefa Muscat, Julian Azzopardi, Melchior Giordimaina.
A first of its kind the shows were of a tremendous success. “After this positive experience, we are looking forward to further collaboration between the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College and Esplora. This way will will continue to provide other platforms for students to perform in public” said College Principal Mr Victor Galea.
