Il-Festa tal-Festi – MAVC School of Art workshops in aid of MCCF

Under the distinguished patronage of the President of Malta, Dr. Miriam Spiteri Debono, the beautiful gardens of Verdala Palace recently hosted Il-Festa tal-Festi, a vibrant three-day annual event dedicated to fundraising for the Malta Community Chest Fund. Hundreds of schoolchildren from Dun Karm Xerri (Naxxar), St. Theresa School (Mrieħel), St. Margerita College (Żabbar and Cospicua), and St. Benedict College (Żurrieq) enjoyed a rich program. Highlights included live music, demonstrations of colorful ‘liedna’ creation, obstacle courses by the Armed Forces of Malta, and a popular art spot. At this creative hub, the Malta School of Art contributed by providing engaging workshops, where students were guided by Mr. George Mario Attard and Ms. Glorian Micallef-Grimaud to create imaginative art pieces inspired by the Maltese festa.
