Kristina Zammit – Wigs and Makeup for L-Aħħar Bastiment – Stories from the Grand Harbour

Kristina Zammit is a Malta-based makeup artist specialising in film and theatre. She trained in London in Production Media Makeup, where she developed a strong technical and artistic foundation in character creation, period makeup, and on-set continuity. Her training equipped her with both traditional and contemporary techniques, allowing her to adapt her work to a wide range of visual styles and performance settings.

Through her work in film, Kristina has cultivated a meticulous attention to detail and a highly collaborative approach, working closely with directors, costume designers, and performers to ensure visual consistency and authenticity. Her experience on set has strengthened her ability to work under pressure while maintaining precision and creative flexibility.

Deeply passionate about storytelling, Kristina approaches makeup as an essential part of character development, using her craft to enhance narrative, atmosphere, and emotional expression. She is dedicated to creating thoughtful, character-driven designs that support and enrich each production she works on.
